The Countdown Begins!

Sorry it has taken me a few days to update with the most current information, but Madeline got sick so I was overwhelmed by taking care of her as well as a bunch of travel details.

So here is the skinny- We are leaving for China in the late evening of September 30!!!!!! We will be with Max on October 3. We finally have our due date!

We got our consulate appointment for October 15. This is a huge praise to God! If we hadn't gotten it, we would have had to wait either another week, or possibly push the trip back to November. There is a huge trade fair in Guangzhou that begins October 14. Hotels would have been unaffordable for us. We will overlap by 3 days, but the manager of the fabulous place we'll be staying has graciously offered us the same rate for our entire trip. This is huge! God continues to move. I will give details on the hotel later....

Thank you so much for your continued prayers. God has moved time and time again in the last 2 years-and I know that He has heard your prayers for us.

We are over the moon that we will soon be with our sweet Max. We cannot believe that we're finally at this step-it has been a long time coming. But we are here. As we prepare to leave in less than 3 weeks, we will contemplate often the might and wonder of our God. We will also fondly contemplate the overwhelming support we have received from all of you. We love you!
