We are still waiting to hear whether we got the consulate date we are hoping to receive. Because of a national holiday in China, the next consulate date we requested is October 15. If we get it, we'll leave around the 2 or 3 of October. If we don't get it, we will be pushed back another entire week. Yuck! This would then push us into a major trade fair that takes place in China, in the exact place that we'll be staying for almost our ENTIRE trip. Hotel rooms are not only extremely difficult to secure during that time, the prices shoot through the roof.
Please pray that God would once again intercede. Pray that we would receive our anticipated consulate date so that we can be out of China before the trade fair begins. Pray that we would trust God's perfect timing.
