We just received word that China has officially approved us to seek adoption of Max! (Isn't he beautiful!!!!) This means that the Chinese government has approved the match between Max and our family. We can now tell him that we are adopting him and will be his forever family. We can also send him packages, gifts, pictures of our family, and letters. We are so joyful to be at this point. All that we have left to do is send in our dossier and wait to receive final confirmation (which will take anywhere from 12-17 weeks) and then we'll travel to pick him up about a month later. Our hope and prayer is that this will all take place before the Summer Olympics happen in Beijing in the late summer. Please continue to pray for us-but tonight, take time to thank the One that made this happen.
